Building Supers must understand, operate, and manage all of a building’s mechanical systems. This in-depth course explains how each system works and how to maintain it for peak efficiency. The systems covered include heating, cooling, ventilation, and heat pumps.

This advanced class is for those who wish to transition to a supervisory role or improve their management skills as building supers. Topics include building protocols, staff evaluations, leadership styles, time management, and project management.

Fire suppression systems: S12 & S13 sprinklers

This sprinkler prep course is designed to help students understand the FDNY requirements for inspecting, testing, and maintaining sprinkler systems. This prep course will help students pass the FDNY S-12 and S-13 certificates of fitness computer-based tests.
Length of course: 3 weeks
(3 hour night class, once a week)
